Heartbreaker is the tragic but also positive story of Dorothy Dandridge, who was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her performance in Carmen Jones. From early days with a singing trio to top stardom in major Hollywood productions, this details the life of the fine actress Hollywood didn't seem to know what to do with. It also explores her nights as a club entertainer, her difficult relationship with her mother, and all of her movie roles.
